Welcome to the South Georgia Stroke Coalition
The South Georgia Stroke Coalition is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the citizens, healthcare agencies, and medical professionals of South Georgia information and the tools that you need to prevent strokes in members of your family, friends and patients. No matter where you are in South Georgia, SGSC is working to provide a continuum of Stroke Care.
SGSC was founded because of the Coverdell-Murphy Act so that Stroke Care, Prevention, and Education could be brought to the People of South Georgia. To view the Coverdell-Murphy Act, click here.
